Well, I think most of you have already read this book by the renowned writer Tom Sharpe.
I have not read much of it yet but enough to be able to tell you that the story evolves far from probable plot situations. The story tells about Mr and Mrs Wilt, a married couple with very different interests and personalities, why they got married, not said yet (if mentioned somewhere in the book).
Mr Wilt, fed up with his henpecked wife and her bizarre manners, wants to get rid of her , so he spends his boring life-days as a teacher in a local school planning how to go ahead with the crime.
From 21 chapters, I have just started chapter 7 , so two thirds of the book still ahead.
In my opinion it is an amusing piece of work with exaggerated characters that never stop surprising me. Easy to read while having great fun.

I've also read this book, and it's hilarous, with typical British humour, crazy characters and confussing situations. It's really good. Actually, I've recently finish the Wilt "saga" reading (in Spanish, I'm sorry Mr. Sharpe) the other parts. Totally there are four. All of them are good but I think the best is the first.
