The Cement Garden
I've been reading this book by Ian McEwan, a very awarded writer. I had never read anything by him but I knew he was the author of Atonement (Expiación) a film with the same title of his book. The Cement Garden is about a family, parents and three teenagers and a little boy and what do they do when first dies their father and a little while after, the mother. It's narrated by the elder brother who is fifteen and talks about the relationship between them and the closed world that is his family. It's quite easy to read and interesting. I'm looking forward to finding out how it ends!
